At Evans Transportation we love giving back.
And we kind of like golf, too.
We formed the Evans Makes A Difference Committee with one purpose: giving back. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the Battle for the Crystal Ax, where proceeds will go to two important organizations. We were introduced to the Wisconsin side’s amazing cause through our NIL partner and Wisconsin Badger Wide Receiver, Chimere Dike. Chim and Kai Lermer were best friends in high school, and after Kai’s unfortunate and tragic passing, Chim wanted to do something to make a difference.
When we got to know Chim, we realized that we were like-minded when it came to our philanthropic mindsets, and general desire to make this a better world. Once EMD was established, a natural rhythm was found with Chim and we wanted to do something to contribute. We decided to create the Battle for the Crystal Ax, with our proceeds going to Kai’s Memorial fund.
Evans Transportation sponsors multiple golfers on different professional tours, and we couldn’t be more excited to put on this outing for all of our golf-loving friends. Probably not as excited as PGA Golfer Kevin Kisner was when we forced him to play a scramble with us!
